We did a write-up on Webers last year and posted it on the USA forum. Here is a link to the write-up which may help in the decision on whether or not to go to Webers. It is hot here and air conditioning is a necessity. The Merc system is fine and maintains comfort. But on the few highways where we can really run the car at speed the Klima relay goes kuput. Our gearboxes are 20 years old, and if yours are like mine, they have had hard use, are getting noisy and rattle a bit in neutral at idle: bearings wear, engagement forks wear and adjustments need re-shimming.
