It s nice to see that the forum have more and more international user 8)

Feel free to post here

Dein 16V macht einen sehr schönen Eindruck auf den Bildern :thumbright:

Es freut mich das wir wieder einen 2.3er mehr haben, denn wir haben viele 2.5er und Evos......aber wenige 2.3er Fahrer

Hi Mayday!

I think your car is very nice!
It seems to me, that your car is in a good condition.

Thanks for the welcome and the kind words about the car.

The car will remain in it´s original condition except from some very small modifications that cannot be seen, it has brake calipers from 300e-24v and discs from 400e, a performance exhaust with race cat and of course the 17 inch wheels (DB model Sador) an engine upgrade is also planned, but only to install other pistons so that i will get the 185hp since mine is the 170hp version...nothing else will be changed....

The other car in the garage is a 190E 1.8, my every day car...

By the way, feel free to write in german, i can understand it nicely but unfortunately i cannot write it, i spend a lot of time in Köln, since i work as a pilot for UPS :)

Hi Mayday,

What a nice car. Greetings from far away Manila. Yes the 16V is alive in our country too. There must be at least ten in Manila. Can you tell me if there is anything to watch out when upgrading the brakes? Does one just buy these calipers and it will fit just like that?

Cheers, Ray

Wow, new engine, new gearbox and everything so clean... that car kicks-ass, nearly a shame to drive. ;)

Very interesting project and great pictures! What a clean engine and clean job all over. Did you have to put 16 inch wheels to accommodate your new brakes from 500E? All the best!

Looking great! This is exactly the type of project I want to do soon. Perfect for track days. Where did you get all the performance bushings from?

Piston and Connecting Rod 185hp

You didnt do it over at all. Nice job and that engine looks so new.

The 185HP 190E had a unique piston and shorter connecting rod to produce a higher compression 185hp by means of a 98 octane requirement of fuel.

Can you share with us what the part numbers are?

For the con rod I got this 1020300120 and for the piston 1020306319 . But am just inferring from the footnotes at the parts catalog. Is this right? Any other modifications one must do?
