@Lude such mal nach Monte Wheels ;-)

Die Felgen sind recht günstig- einziges Manko max. 8" Breite - das war der Grund wieso ich schon damals mir diese nicht geholt habe als sie neue auf dem Markt gekommen sind.

MfG

No problem, thanks anyway! When you have time ;-)

Where do you have clearance problems with the 225/40 ?

Hell its when i turn the wheels, front and rear of inner fender is where the tyre hits. I have modifed the inner fenders a bit. I might make new inner fenders, more similiar
to the DTM car next year.

Lude as Maki said, wheels can be bought from Reyland.

Hi Maki,

Solch ein Manko lässt sich doch problemlos lösen. Jede Breite ist realisierbar egal ob 9x18, 9,5x18, 10x18 usw. Hab ich damals schon einige male gemacht bei Felgen in 19"

Finally, its alive. After some fiddling around with the wires we actually started it today. Everything seems to run well, Jorgen, one of the guys behind the development of VEMS was there
to assist us, its basically ready be fine tuned now, but it will have to wait til the weather gets a bit warmer, still around freezing here.

A few things that needs to be sorted

1. The electric fan i got was rubbish, dont know why i didnt buy a proper SPAL fan in the first time, but now im definitely ordering one

2. Heater wont work, we removed the AC earlier but there seems to be a valve of some sort that is closed and wont let the water through

So finally, today we took it for a 50km test drive, with Jörgen from VEMS doing some adjustments. Need to run it in another 500km and two oil changes before
the final adjustments to get the full power from it. Still no ITBs, it will have to wait until next season together with new cams and exhaust. Might have hunted
down an original DTM Evo 1 system

Did my first track day with the Evo rep last sunday. Didnt manage to get hold of a set of semi-slicks so i used my cheap kuhmos. Perhaps not the best choice. Rubbish rubbish rubbish. No grip what so ever, as soon as i hit the accelerator out of the corners it just spun. So when the rain came i decided to call it a day. But otherwiste the car performed well. The handling is amazing, except for the tires that is. Cant wait til i get my new semi-slicks. I will probably sell my evo 2s that i got for the semi-slicks, and instead get a set of 18" Kuhmo V70a semi-slicks for my compomotives.

Anyway, here are few amazing pictures that Tobias took of my and Henrik Rosengrens car.
