- Put all fluids back in
- Final checkup that all sensors are working with VEMS box
Two more weekends and it should all be done.
Here are few pics from the last couple of days.
Found my old Becker radio that came with the car and decided to put it back in,
This is for the oil filter adapter install, the threaded part was a bit to long so it fouled the oil temp and pressure sensor, so we needed to cut them down
to the correct length,
Finished result, sensors and hose connectors screwed back in.
Adapter plate bolted to the block, this plate is needed when you use ITBs, the original oil filter housing will hit the ITB manifold,
Soldering time, we finished the last part of the VEMS install, this is the wiring for the Trigger sensor,
Finished result, we used a high quality Hirschmann connector, just to make it more service friendly for example when you take the engine out. Just disconnect it, no need to remove
the Trigger sensor from the engine.
New alternator belt, i had AC before, but we took it out so we needed the shorter alternator belt.
Everything back in place except for the intake and battery.
