Car is now finally back in it´s home country Germany, ran like a dream down without the slightest hickup, considering every screw on the car has been touched im more than pleased

Garage finally finished, now it doesnt have to stand parked on the street anymore

Had to find something to drive to work, found this sad looking 190E 1.8 from 1992, with no extras at all not even ABS and with 4 speed manual gearbox but with only 1 previous owner for 1200 euros



After about 12 hours of scrubbing, cleaning, washing and polishing this is what it looks like



The car is in great condition, no rust, interior is basically spotless and its running like a clock, going to keep the car in this original "Grandfather" look, so that means not lowering it and no aluwheels, just as it looked when it rolled out of from the Mercedes dealer

Unfortunately my girlfriend fell in love with the car so now i will have to find a new one for myself, maybe another 190, would that be sick ? !

i think it was asked some time ago, but i haven´t found it.
what´s the type of that rear muffler, which is fitted to your matt finished 16v? do you know where to buy it?

So a small update again car is more or less ready, just the rear spolier missing and the wheels are to be painted in the next few days and then it will come down to germany again

Car is finally finished and date is set in 2 weeks for the engine to be tuned properly , will be fun to se how much power it gives although i dont expext to much
