This take time, but I hope the car is ready in the middel of mai 2012.
1991mod. 190E 2.0:
When I got it:

After one week

I use this car for some years, but after a while I get a idea of making a 190e the way it was IF this was made today(as if from inside my head

Sandblasted subframe:

Rewelded and reinforced:

Powdercoat dark grey:

3.07 LSD diff:

Bushings from AKE + my tool and std bushing

Adjustable bushings(camber):

Brakeshield to 320mm disc in front and 300mm rear(E500/SL500/600),I may use 300mm in front and rear.
Anti swaybar from 190E 2.6 in front and 2.5-16 in rear+++

Ready to mount:

New parking brakes & wires:

Custom link to swaybar(stainless steel) in rear:

When I mounted the rear subframe I got a suprise.
The bushings from 16v(same as c36&c43) did not fit.
The "bolt" was to thiny. The one on my var was ø27mm and the bushing was made for a bolt on ø32mm.
Then I remembered a frend who had a 190E 2.6 that he mounted bushings from 500E on, and he had some problems to make the bushing to stay right on place.
SO, I made some chims to this:

I alsow modify the bushing a bit so the subframe was tighter to the car,(simular to the polly kit).

The car was washed verry good under and I use 23bags of bodyprotection from 3M. Something like the one that are orginal from MB:

Then it was time to get the driveline, subframe and fuel/brakeline on the car:

Then the front.
The parts:

The suspension are shockabsorbers from Bilstein(b8) and springs from V-maxx.
Brakes are 4pot caliper from 500e/evolution and 300mm disc and pads from EBC .

The shield are from E500(to 320mm disc) if I want bigger brakes later.
The gearbox are 6speed so I need to do some mods. The shaft was a bit to short and the the shaft was bigger and the splines was a bit bigger than the one from 16v.

Adjusted lenght, splines and painted:

then I need to adjust the gearshifter. This was 7.5cm to long.Cut & weld:

The same goes for the wire. This make me some headache, but I manage to get a solution at last.
I modify a handbrakewire to 190E. A test so I did se if the wire work both ways:

Then I need a mountingbracket:

I also had to make a bigger hole in the car:

some cut & glue:

org gearbox:

Sandblasted and ready for paint:

Painted and with new oil:

Test mounted

To get cold air to the engine I use fender and airintake from a 190D2.5TD

I alsow use the org. airfilterbox:

As long I want some boost do I need a intercooler ; )
I got one with a perfect high and almost perfect wide so I had to cut & weld just a little bit.

On the another side of the engine I need to make a pipe:

With airtemp-sensor:

I use a M111 engine in this car. The enginemount are freom w124 E220, with this are the engine bolt-on:

I don't like the org. hydraulic attachment part and with this was the engine a bit to high so I made some on my own:

A new gasket for the brakebooster:

Then it was time for the finaly mounting( I hope) of the engine:

Then after some more work it starts to looks good.

I alsow have a new painted brakebooster, steering and a new brakefluidcontainer and a watherreservoar from a 190D2.5TD.
Exhaust:
I wanted a hedders from Supersprint, but I didn't find any with a good price, so I did some work on the one I had:

Under the car I have made the exhaust in 2.5" stainless steel:

Sorry, I was sure I hade more picture's, but I need to take some of the result.
The engine have TPS on the pedal to controll the throttle so I have to make something that fit the w201.
So I change the engine/tps in the throttlebody and mounted a new TPS, MAP-sensor and a wire:
Org.:

Now:

MAP:

Throttle by wire:

The wiring was to short so I made the whole wiring from scratch. I bougth a lot of wires and all the conectors from MB.

A preview of the car.

All the lamps in the front and the grill are new. The hood are from 16v.
I got a rear wing with brakelight as long i want to build the 190E from the 21'st century ; )

A kind of "diesel look":

A new "044" fuelpump:

I have started to do some work inside the car as well.
I have conect the alarm ECU, the wires to the stereo and the consolle, with carbotrim.

I have a idèa for the light inside the car. I wil mount floorlight's(dim.light when driwing & bright when the door are open), light in the doorhandle and alarm led in the doorpin.

Buy some cheap doorpins at ebay. With a bit adjustment will this fit the w201

I put the fuelpump relay and relay to the injectors & coils inside a org.fuelpumprelay.
Fuses on top so it is easy to check the circut.

From the test,before painting:

working a bit on the car almost everday so things are going forward
