Here is a dyno result. Could somebody please tell me what the numbers mean and what is the power output?

engine power 148,2KW / 201,55HP on 6965 RPM
Power on the wheel. 127,4KW / 173,26HP on 6965 RPM
lost power ( engine power - power on wheel) 20,7KW / 28,15HP on 6965 RPM

Torque is 219Nm

You have 198,7Bhp and 219Nm in the engine, 178bhp on the wheels.
You have an 27,75Bhp loss in the drive train

Hello,

in Germany we calculate wit factor 1,36.
1KW is 1,36PS. The Dyno was made in Germany
so I calculated it with the german or european
Factor for KW/PS.

Die Motorleistung (gemessen) 148,2 KW ist lediglich die unter den vor Ort herrschenden Umständen, gemessene Leistung.

Die Motorleistung /korrigiert) 142.8 KW ist hier die passende, da fließen dann Korrekturfaktoren wie Temperatur usw. mit ein und liefern so ein Ergebnis laut DIN oder anderen Normen ab.

Naja,

der Korrekturwert ist ja auch wieder nur umgerechnet.
Das ist für mich absolut irrelevant.

Wir brauchen uns jetzt auch nicht die Köppe wegen 4-7 ps
einkloppen. Hauptsache ist die Kiste geht. Und wenn es ein originaler Motor ist,
dann ist doch alles über 190PS völlig zufriedenstellend.

Da kann man mir erzählen was man will, wenn ich an meinem
Kompressor "nur" 260PS hab und überhol nen Wagen der gemessen 300PS
hat dann ist für mich die Welt in Ordnung.
Da ich aber auch mal ne Antwort auf die Leistungsfragen
geben will werde ich demnächst ne Messung machen lassen.

Und wie gesagt über 190PS sind bei nem 2.5-16 meiner Meinung
Nach absolut Top!

Henger mented that you have to look at the "Motorleistung (Korrigiert)"
couse it would show the correct mesure with all the things that take affact in couse of the enviroment.
Temperature, barometic pressure and so on.

So you have to look at the 142,8KW / 194,2PS.

My thinking is, that it doesen`t matter if you have 194PS or 201PS.
All over 190PS is a very good value for a 2.5-16.
And beleve me, you will never feel the difference of 7 PS by a car with 190PS!

If you drive a Citroen 2CV or an old Cooper with reular 30PS you would feel the difference of 7PS more or less.
The mean Thing is that your car run`s good and you are pleased.

Lude, es geht hier nicht um Köppe einzukloppen, auch nicht darum wann die Welt für einen in Ordnung ist, es geht hier lediglich um die Interpretation des Leistungsdiagramm.
Die Motorleistung /korrigiert) ist der Wert mit dem gerechnet wird bzw. mit dem man was anfangen kann.

Lude, keine Ahnung weshalb du so ein Ding draus machst.
Wer streitet hier und wo bitte findet sich ein belehrender Ton meinerseits?
Im 3. Post dieses Threads hat der Johann.c die Leistung schon so angegeben, wie sie gemeinhin aus Leistungsmessungen verwendet wird.
Es gibt nun mal Normen und meiner Ansicht nach machen sie beim Thema Leistungsmessung auch Sinn.
