Thorsten's DTM Air Intake System

Does anyone have an Evo I or Evo II street car with Thorsten's DTM slider plate throttle body and carbon fiber airbox? Does anyone know how much more power will you get with Thorsten's system?

i think thorstens sytem is not available yet, as i know they are still working on it.

Thorstens System is availlible until the end of july
i`ve tested one without other engine mods in my evo 1
we got about 245 HP on the Dyno my engine s under construction and will be finished in August or september with cam pistons and a few other mods we will reach about 315 hp @ 8500/rpm
please mail to thorsten if you are interested in his Flachschieber
i think he tested it last week on his Race Car

Hey Tom,
What engine mods are you doing to your Evo? I am very interested in Thorsten's system and I would also like to see if Thorsten can build me a street Evo motor and ship to the US.

Hi, What are the main differences the between this system and the old throttle body system. Drivability, performence. Differences in price

Hi Mikael,

ITB is racing, but a slide throttle is DTM :-) There are several opinions for each systems. If the guillotine is open, than you don´t have any obstacles in the manifold, like in an open throttle. Throttles you have to synchronize, slide throttles are always synchronized. Throttles are a bit cheaper. Throttles are available at several suppliers, so you can choose, where you buy them. A new slide throttle is only availbale in our shop. If you have additional question, please don´t hesitate to send me an email.
