Hauptlager 2.5-16v

I cant find any main bearings (hauptlager) in repair sizes for the 990 engine. There seem to be bearings for the 983. But according to mercedes documents 2.3 bearings are thinner then 2.5, and will not fit in a 990 engine.

We measured our 2.5 crankshaft (kurbelwelle), and indeed its seems to be thinner bearings in our engines.

Are there main bearings available for the 2.5 in repair sizes?

ich werde morgen mit Atec telefonieren, ob die eine Reperaturstufe der Hauptlager für die 2.5er Kurbelwelle liefern können.

Normalmaß 58,00mm (Standard)

Reparaturstufe I, 57,75mm, MAHLE 001 HS 10657 025 (kompletter Satz)

Reparaturstufe II, 57,50mm, MAHLE 001 HS 10657 050 (kompletter Satz)

Reparaturstufe III, 57,25mm, MAHLE 001 HS 10657 075 (kompletter Satz)

Reparaturstufe IV, 57,00mm, MAHLE 001 HS 10657 100 (kompletter Satz)

thanks for the info.

But when i searched through Mahles online catalog for the part number
"001 HS 10657", this come up as part only for the 102.983 engine.

When searching for parts for the 990 engine no main bearings (hauptlager) comes up:

ja das stimmt, daß für einige 102.983er Motoren die gleichen Lagerschalen sind wie für den 102.990.

Hier nochmals die genau Aufklärung:

Reparaturstufe I, 57,75mm, MAHLE 001 HS 10657 025 (kompletter Satz)

= Original Mercedes Nr. A601 030 06 40

Dieser Satz gilt für alle 102.990er Motoren und für 102.983er Motoren ab Motornummer 013902.

Der Mahle Online Katalog ist nicht auf dem aktuellsten Stand, wie der Papierkatalog. Leider...

P.S.: A601 030 06 40 passt auch in die 102.991 und 102.992 (Evomotoren)
