Hi!
I would like to have some advices :
What do you think about the Bilstein B12 kit?
And do you think it's necessary to change the front anti roll bar (for an E420 or E500?) or the original one with the Bilstein kit will be allright?
Thanks!

One more question : is it necessary to remove the suspension oil pump on the engine, or can I keep it at his place??

When you remove the Oilpump your ASD will not work anymore!

Ah okay, so what is the solution to keep ASD?
Just remove the suspensions's hoses?

I made a mistake when I wrote "remove the hoses"... I was meaning conect the suspensions hoses to make a closed circuit and by this way save the oil pression, to keep the ASD functionnal.
Is that right?
And may I have somebody's opinion about the Bilstein BTK(B12) kit? (-40 front, -35 back)

Up :
I've found the following picture of the SLS & ASD system.
It seems there is just 1 hoses for each shock absorber, i thought there were 2.
So the solution would be to replace the parts 125-128-155-158 by a screw on each??...

Just replace line 122 with a plug at the ASD distributor (right front wheel house).

Christian

Thanks a lot!
I'm sorry, but I don't speak german, that's why it's complicated for me to search on the forum.
What do you recommend as a suspension kit? Bilstein / YSR / H&R / Eibach?
I sometimes go on track, but also use my 16v as a daily car, and don't know what is the best compromise...

That's why I gave you the link. Even if you speak german, you can't always find the right thread on the spot.
I drive the original suspension so I'can't help you on this.

hello,
it is not right what chris says, you cant plug the fittig of the line 122, then the presure line from the pump will burst!!!!
you have to make a line back to the revervoir, where the line 122 is fitted !!

Thomas, Du hast recht, die Rücklaufleitung ist notwendig, damit das System funktioniert. Ich habe mich geirrt.
Thomas is right, you'll need the return line. Do not plug the line otherwise the system will blow up.
bis denn,
Christian

Thank you, I've not touch it for the moment, still looking for the suspension kit I'll put on it...
Looking an the web for any advices, I found this :
http://mercedes-190.co.uk/topic/6720332/1/#newYour idea is to bring the "P3" back to the reservoir, right?
I've been looking for H&R Cup kit specs, but I don't find for 2.5-16... Maybe because of the SLS?
Can sombody tell me more about this kit? Is it possible to configure the height? Because it's a -60 front / -40 back, correct? I'm afraid it's a bit too much... I ride with 225/45/16 on Evo wheels, do you think that it's okay?
And if you have a pict of a car with this setup to help me to have an idea, it would be great!
Sorry for all the questions, but on the french forums I don't find any advices about it...
Thanks!

Another idea : because the SLS on the rear is cool on a 16v, a friend told me to only change the springs for stiffer/harder...
Does somebody have an opinion about it?
