Hello,

I own an 2.5-16v and i have seen an 2.0 or 2.3 with 3 niveau regelierung.
Can i do a direct swap ? What parts are different and what do i need that is different from the 2.0/2.3 and a 2.5-16v with 3 stufen fahrwerk ?

Kind regards
Wesley

I think it will work, but I never saw a 8V with this. It must be the one in million :-D
But it's a lot of work, this is for sure.
The only thing that might be different is the setting of the dampers (compression & rebound) and maybe they have other diameter in stabilizer (sway bar).
Best way to find it out is to compare both cars with Mercedes EPC.
Use the VIN from donator car and compare all parts with the Type W201.034 and 201.035....(not the Evos (201.036)

Hello

Thank you for the reply,
I later found out the 2.0 or 2.3 car had no niveauregulierung ( its on kleinanzeige) but on the pictures the front shocks has no oil hoses on them,

My car is an 2.5-16v with an evo 2 bodykit, however using an 2.5-16v niveauregulierung will this work properly, or is finding an evo 2 set a must ? I guess the system is the same but the evo 2 shocks are calculated for that cars weight ?!

My problem now is this car has cheap suspension whichs drives crap and hard,
And im hitting every speedbump, having the posibility to adjust hight is amazing

Aha, that's why I never saw one! :muhahaha:

The ADS suspension is not bad, but parts are expensive.
In my opinion, I would save the money and effort and buy a KW suspension for competition or Bilstein Kit for daily use.
