..and the saga continues.
I´ve just started looking into the placement of the turbo.
Thought is to spend time until i feel dayum good and ready to weld it all up.
Expend the options available so to say.
The current thinking goes along the lines of moving the battery to the trunk and installing the oilreservoir for the SLS as well as the overflow tank for the engine and the windshieldwasher where the battery resides stock.
Reason is that it will simply make for a much cleaner look, and again...if need be it´ll be easy enough to convert back to stock as we´re all in all talking a few holes drilled for various bracketry.
We´ve even played around with making a new right hand side engine mount-that´s would be vastly "lower" in built, and placing the turbocharger besides the motor.However..this was deemed less than optimal from a flow standpoint,so in essence...back to the original plan-which means putting the turbo up where i´ve got it on my own car.
The mod of the radiator support turned out just fine.In fact...it´s a mod that only the REALLY trained eye will detect.
Welded some bungs to the top of the intercooler for fastening the cooler to the top of the radiator support with two bolts.Works great.
Sometime during the weekend i´ll make sure to take more pictures and post them.
