Mercedes W201 190E 16V EVO

As you might have gathered we´re heavy into turbos up here,and within the country the three really heavy hitters with the cossies are;
Me
Gordon
Jarle

Well...Gordon went down the 1320 (Iow dragracing)with his today and the clock stopped at
10.78@222km/h!!!!!!!!(and with a crappy 1.93 60 foot to boot)

This...with his truly streetdriven 16V merc.
To my knowledge that makes him the fastest mercedes powered mercedes in europe at the moment!!
WAY TO GO GORDON!!!!!!!!

The little 16V engine just never seize to amaze me...

10.78 was from a better run.
With a 60 foot time of 1,93..well let´s just say that 60 foot of 1.5 is what is to be expected when things work.
Now,for every 1/10 a second you cut the 60 you cut the total ET approx 2-3/10s.
IOW,there´s at least 0,8 seconds to be found in chassis reaction and grip alone-putting him DAYUM close to the 9s....and that is fast...as in DEAD fast.

The trap speed also indicates that a 9 isn´t completely out of grasp,but that would entail Gordon investigating the chassis a little more.

Turbos man...what can i say
A fair guess is that Gordon is somewhere around the 600PS mark on those 2 bars of boost.
IOW,room for improvement.

My own POS..me and VEMS Jörgen was out playing last wednesday,and we completely anihilated a 900cc crotch rocket(sport bike).
Fairly close until we reached third gear...then it was bye bye for real.
Further,i´m looking for a "new" chassis.
I´ve come to the point where the "sleeper" deal feels like it´s done,and therefore i´m going to pickup another 190 to "convert with all my own stuff before trying to break into the 9s.
