Carbon.
I logged the VEMS the other day.
Started out with 420cc injectors.
That´s fuel to approx 350 honest ones.
These bottom out @ 0,4 bar of boost.
Upper limit?
I recap...
Back in the late 80s/early 90s a Swedish dragracer by the name of Kjell turboed one of these engines and put it into a rail chassis dragracing car with a Chevrolet Vega body.
Car weighed in at approx 1100 kg.
He went down the 1/4 mile in 7,80sh with a trap speed of 330 km/h.
If we calculate that backwards it translates into ONETHOUSAND FOURHUNDRED horsepower.
There´s ONE thing that never lies...and that is a timeslip.
Dynos and what have you can be a load of crock...timeslips on the other hand...
What that means..is that..there IS no limit to what can be extracted from the little engine that could.
We´re learning..that boosted HP to a great extent is a question of what the same engine delivers without the turbo in place.
As far as being occupied...tell me about it broh!!!
Feels like i´m working 24/7 right now..
