I think its BMW M10 bearings, and you have to re-bush the small end from 23mm to 22mm (if you dont order pistons whit 23mm wrist pin)

And the big-ends whit need to be taken down to aprox 27,5mm to be
crank-guided.

Long time no post. Well im pretty tired of this now. Me johan orderd piston from the US in in early december last year. Still no pistons here, endless of phone calls, no replys, promises. We probably gonna take our business elsewhere, cause this is beginning to look like a really bad joke.

I did recive som other parts today.

First out the is the AMG spark plug cover. Needs some sanding, before its ready for paiting:

Some more bolts for the rear subframe, and also the heat cover for the alternator.

es ist sehr schade, das es nicht so läuft bei euch wie geplant :(
Auch sehr bedauerlich, dass deine Kolben aus USA nicht gekommen sind.
Ich drück mal fest die Daumen, das es bald weitergehen kann mit deinem Wagen.

Maybe roman from turbobandits can deliver you some pistons?
At least they put on there site that they can custom make CP pistons.
I have send a mail to wiseco few days back for a price indication.
Not had a reply tho.
I also asked sten motorparts if they could make pistons for there connecting rods they offer for the benz 16v
But they could not make them earlier as in the end of the year.

Die Kolben find ich ja auch mal scharf. Was kostet so ein Prachtexemplar?
11:3 -> 95/98 Oktan?

Und was ist mit den Pleul, sind wiegen die auch weniger?
Passen die Pleul einfach so mit dem 2.5er Motor?

* The pistons is 96,00mm diameter
* We can drive on 95 or 98oct regular fuel
* -276grams on piston + rod we have save = 1104grams in total in rotating mass!
* Yes, the rods fits the 16v engine (2,5 or 2,3) BUT you have to machine the big end.

CP-pistons was the producer, was the company how made it happend!

Got my rear subframe back from sandblasting and applied a few coats of primer, need to get some satin black on there too. Also i will probably get my engine back next week. Everything seems to fit ok. Fully rebuilt bottom end with forged pistons and rods, all fully balanced and he also took a few kg of the flywheel. Post pics as soon as ive picked it up

that's a great looking colour - but it's only the primer?!

One question: did you change the subframe bushings before blasting?
Are these still the old bushings?
Do you intend to change them now?

I actually forgot taking them out... But yes, im taking the bushings out before i apply the actual matt black color, like you said yellow is only a 2-component primer.

I will replace all 4 bushings, will probably go the delrin route, instead of OEM Mercedes.

These arrived from the states today, AMG E60 29mm and Evo 2 18mm a/r-bars. Got them cheap and thought it was better to get them while there still in stock. Was supposed to buy both gasket kits for the engine but ... Well, thing like this just happens...
