Hallo! RRoque 2.5 16V

Hello all 16v lovers!
My name is Ricardo im 25 from Portugal.
I own a 2.5-16 for 3y now. it was bought very passion and is my baby car. was imported from DE in 1996 and it was in very good shape.
I cared about original value 1st year i drove it and make some small restaurations. then i decided to start upgrading it.
ive been learning some mechanics and electronics slowly through this car, making all stuff once i have time and money.
The first mod was instaling EFI (MS2) then last year i decided to stop the car for more serius mods.
right now im studing a new intake system Indiv. throtle bodies, oil filter relocation and better spec trigger wheel system.
I planed to register on this forum long ago but language was a problem. now i discovered google chrome with auto translate and it turned possible.
As normal, in the future i will need some opinions, help, parts... there is alot going on is hard to catch it all, we are nothing alone.

Sou da Marinha Grande.
Pela sua assinatura vejo que "vários" é a palavra certa... Já agora que se deve ter tantos exemplares?
Quanto á sua pergunta, a unica coisa que aparece por cá são estes excelentes exemplares de um membro do Club Mercedes de Portugal que tem um evo1 e um evo2, este ano colocou-os á venda. Já arranjei aqui o link:

Kann mir mal jemand 110.000€ leihen?

Aber, wenn mans mal nachrechnet, 110.000,- für einen Evo1 (004/500) und Evo 2 (374/500) als Paket sind schon heftig... Immerhin ist der Preis VB und der Verkäufer akzeptiert Angebote..

I think the seller is asking for 50.000 for the evo1 and 60 for the evo2. is alot of fruit even they are original and well manteined.
the only evo´s ive seen here..
Is there any estimate of how many evos are alive? and at this forum, how many evo owners?

If someone can help me, do you use a record of car historial (crashes or similar) over there? my Benz have 2 non-oiginal windows it was in his homeland since 91 to 96. Best Regards

Obrigado Alberto. Fico muito contente encontrar por aqui Portugueses.
Terei muito gosto, caso suceda, encontrarmos-nos com os nossos 16V! é muito raro passar por um, mas ainda há bastantes em portugal.
Eu faço planos de ter o meu a andar só em Agosto, estou muito desejoso de voltar a conduzi-lo.

O teu carro também está muito bonito. Vi o topico da quebra da corrente de distribuição... gostava de ver mais sobre o teu carro, tens mais algum topico com fotos e mais detalhes?
também gostava de saber que escape estás a usar, eu tenho que substituir o escape e estou procurando por opções.

Yes this are evo 2 Bremmsattel.

Can you give-me a link of your most important topics? ide love to see your 2.5 project.

My current specs is all stock, just drilled discs at front ebc pads and goodrige hoses.
I will brake upgrade just in august, to menage better anual car inspection, i will change to 17 zoll and need to legalize.
It gives me time to gather all parts. I will run on:

-300mm TRW v\normal discs front, evo2/early e500 Bremmsattel
-300mm TRW v\normal discs rear, e500 Bremmsattel
-e500 Brake master Cyl
-stock 2.5-16 servo (i will upgrade this if pedal to soft , low)
-TRW pads
-Goodrige hoses

I dont know about dust shields requirements yet.

Im ansious to try a 120kmh panic stop with this set

OK i decided to risk a build of a individual throttle intake.
i will be using E46 M3 ITBs, since their are splitable individualy and they are 50mm.
Im going to use an OE manifold (cuted) ill post details about this next weeks if anyone interested.

Now im working on batery relocation at the rear, and redoing some wiring around the engine.
I will be thankfull if anyone know were i can get a nice money-value trigger wheel set. I think mine wont rev 8000 for too long..
