Hi Guys.
I'm from Denmark. therefore write in English.
I own a 2.5-16V with an engine code 102 990th. when I write this engine code on Mercedes EPC Program. it says that my car has 204 HP.
Mercedes says that my car is born without catalyst. but the car is imported from Germany to Denmark. which are retrofitted Catalyst car.

so my question is. why is there original catalyst and lambda sensor but a Unoriginal G-Cat unit `?

why is lambda sensor mounted on the car's engine control unit. and G-cat control sits all by itself

the law says in Denmark that we do not need Catalyst if the car is not born with it

I would like to remove the catalyst in my car

I've (re)imported my car from Denmark - and it also had 204 HP.
You just have to put back the original "RÜF"-Exhaust (without catalyst), remove the lambdasensor and change the "Abgleichsstecker" from KAT to RÜF.
There are 2 of these, IIRC one on the left front fender and one behind the battery/next to the KE-controller.
AFAIK these "Abgleichsstecker" are not available anymore by Mercedes. I don't know where I have left mine - I don't need them anymore.

Why someone changed from RÜF to KAT... you have to ask him, not us.

In Germany you have to pay different taxes and that means some hundrets € per year.

You do not know what number they should be on ...? the KE-controller.
I have removed the catalytic converter and lambda.

These Abgleichsstecker (~ comparison plugs) are round and have KAT on them (I think both). If you change them, IIRC one is labeled RÜF and the other ECE.
I don't know the partnumbers.

Das sind die Teilenummern der Abgleichstecker für den Betrieb in RÜF.
