So...back home.
The 2.5-16...followed me home
Jesus...why do people never learn?
Up here..it´s turning into winter in a hurry.
Snow..sub zero asf..
Well...as we got to "Flen"(name of the place where the car was at)..we were greeted by a car in ever BETTER condition that i would ever have anticipated seing what the owner was asking.
However..the car had a MAJOR flaw as stated...it wouldn´t start.
After some basic diagnosis..we concluded the car was running way way rich...however..
For those of you into the loop on K-jets...car came to life after backing the CO adjustment screw out SEVEN TURNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SEVEN TURNS!!!!!!!!!!!
Buuuuuuuut...with those SEVEN turns backed off...it idled and ran like nothing would stop it
So..seing that the car was taken off the road(probably due to the Kjet probs) it wasn´t really legal to drive it back on its own behalf...now was it...
Now..i own several cossies as you know,and...tic tac toe..the car was one turbocharged 85 vintage from gothenburg

Street legal and all...
Turned the key..and started for home.
We obviously did SOMETHING right with the KE..cause it topped out 180km/h in third with ease!(it´s a 4 speed slush box car)
Any rust?
Of course, but very very minor...seing its a 91 vintage 2.5-16 i´d say its in remarkable shape!
Interior for the lack of better words looks like almost new...very VERY well taken care of.
Option list is a bit "odd" to say the least.
This being a "leichtbau" car-meaning it lacks sunroof, which is prefarable to me as that leaves more headroom when i install the roll cage.
It lack rear headrests..lacks leather...
On the other hand its got an automatic gearbox,AC and en electrical seat?
Whatever in essence, cause this is a chassis that is EXACTLY what the Dr ordered as far as i´m concerned.
It being a slushbox car also meaning that the sheet metal of the car will be less strained from previous use than a stick car.
It WAS one serious 500 mile roundtrip tho...and i´m honestly beat..
More?
Of course..as i said i´ve continued work on the plenum for the new motor.
Next up are the stacks to be welded to it...and then the diffusor aso..
